Walking Club Check-In: What's Your Motivation for Walking?

Last Reviewed 02/06/2014

spring day

Welcome to our first official check-in of the new Sinatra Walking Club!  I'm excited to have you join us!  If you missed the official introduction, please see yesterday's blog post.

One of the biggest reasons I walk, aside from knowing it's good for my health and my heart, is that walking is one of the best antidotes for stress!  Not only does walking work the stress out of your muscles, it stimulates the creation of feel-good endorphins.  Don't you always feel better after a good brisk walk?  I know I do!

That's my reason for loving to walk!  How about you?

1) Please leave a comment to share your reason for walking-maybe we'll all gain some new motivation from each other!  I'm always excited to hear about other people's walking motivations.

2) Also, if you've already walked this week-feel free to log in your time, hours, or miles walked.  Or, if you're just starting your walking program this week, share that too!

Remember that comments await moderation, so if it doesn't appear right away don't worry.  Just check back later.

Happy walking,

P.S. This coming week, Dr. Sinatra told me he's going to be sharing some pretty interesting health information on this blog.  For instance, did you know that your heart supplements are not just benefiting your heart?  They're actually doing double duty for your health.  I hope you'll come back to get more valuable tips and advice from this leading cardiologist, and certified anti-aging expert.

Consult your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
