Discover which omega-3 and CoQ10 dosages can help to support healthy blood pressure.
As you know, maintaining healthy blood pressure is essential to heart health. A normal reading is a systolic pressure of less than 120 mmHg over a diastolic pressure of less than 80 mmHg. Keeping your blood pressure in the healthy range requires a heart-healthy diet and exercise—which your doctor no doubt has told you about.
What he or she may not have told you, however, is that there’s a “dynamic duo” of heart vitamins that also can help to support those efforts—including the right CoQ10 dosage and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) omega-3.
How The Right CoQ10 Dosage Promotes Healthy Blood Pressure
The right CoQ10 dosage supports healthy blood pressure by enhancing energy at the cellular level. This boost in energy enables the heart muscle to pump blood more efficiently, which is critical for healthy blood pressure.
The research I’ve seen on CoQ10 and blood pressure is extremely impressive. In a 12-week study of men and women, a 60 mg CoQ10 dosage taken twice daily helped to promote normal blood pressure by reducing systolic blood pressure. In another similar study, 50 mg of CoQ10 taken twice a day reduced both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in 10 weeks.
For Even Greater Blood Pressure Support, Add DHA Supplements
DHA omega-3 essential fatty acids are scientifically shown to support healthy blood pressure. To get your DHA, I recommend taking an omega-3 supplement that gives you 350 mg per day of DHA and 150 mg of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). Plus, you want to combine it with a good CoQ10 supplement, which is the combination I included in my Omega Q Plus® formula.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I can’t imagine practicing medicine, let alone cardiology, without CoQ10 supplements for blood pressure and omega-3s. Both heart vitamins are absolutely critical for a healthy heart, including healthy blood pressure.
Now it’s your turn: Have you found that the right CoQ10 dosage and DHA supplements help your blood pressure?
