ElectrolytePLUS Cardio powers up your muscles the natural way

  • Balances electrolyte levels
  • Supports  lasting energy and a strong heart beat
  • Helps keep your muscles functioning at their best
  • Maintains proper water balance

Maintaining both healthy levels and the proper balance of electrolytes—potassium, magnesium, and sodium to name a few—is critical for energy production and for sending electrical messages from your brain to your heart, muscles, organs, and cells. Unfortunately, many common heart medications, illness, poor digestion, and even sweating can drain your electrolytes to dangerously low levels.

More potassium than a banana!

That’s why I’ve packed ElectrolytePLUS Cardio with 250% MORE potassium than other popular electrolyte replacement drinks. This incredible amount of potassium—more than what’s in a banana!—
helps keep your muscles functioning at their best, while also balancing out your electrolyte levels.

Antioxidant support for optimal health and energy

Plus, I’ve included 100 mg of magnesium (100% MORE than what you’ll find in sugary sports drinks) along with a unique sea mineral blend and a robust amount of cardio and immune health-supporting antioxidants for optimal health and energy. Safe for your heart, this delicious berry-flavored drink mix is great for those taking nutrient-depleting cardio medicines.

Packed with vitamins, minerals and more!

Just tear open the convenient packet and pour this powdered nutrient and antioxidant blend into a glass of water for a deliciously fizzy, berry-flavored drink packed with:

Science and Quality

Electrolytes must be in balance in the human body for normal cellular and organ function. Many systems in the body require electrical signals for communication, including the brain, heart, muscles and nervous system. The major positively charged electrolytes are sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. The major electrolytes that carry a negative charge are chloride, phosphate, sulfate, and bicarbonate.

Sodium and potassium balancing

Sodium is one of the most important electrolytes, being the ion found in the fluid outside of the cell. Most people get plenty of sodium in the diet, which is important for maintaining the proper amount of water in the body. However, too much sodium is associated with high blood volume, which increases blood pressure levels.

Balancing sodium intake with potassium is critical to cardiovascular function as potassium is the main electrolyte found inside the fluid of the cells. Potassium is required for a normal heart beat and proper muscle function. Recommended daily intake for potassium is quite high (3,500 mg), and often difficult obtain.

Depletion of electrolytes

Electrolytes can be depleted from the body by a variety of causes including excessive sweating, illness, diarrhea, vomiting and medications, including cardiovascular medications like diuretics, certain antibiotics, gout drugs, antacids, and anti-inflammatories like prednisone and aspirin.

Blood pressure drugs are well known depleters of potassium and other electrolytes. Thiazide and loop diuretics are the biggest culprits due to their ability to increase water excretion, which in turns depletes water soluble nutrients. Because potassium is critical for normal heart beats, it is important to replenish this nutrient on a regular basis when taking these types of medication.
