Magnesium Broad-Spectrum Complex provides comprehensive coverage of an essential heart health nutrient

  • Supports healthy circulation and blood flow
  • Maintains normal blood pressure levels
  • Promotes relaxation and dilation of blood vessels and arteries
  • Supports muscle and nerve health
  • Maintains healthy bone density levels

Magnesium is one of your body’s most critical nutrients. It offers great heart and cardiovascular support, optimal bone strength and formation, and helps maintain proper muscle and nerve health. But its most important role is protecting your heart and entire cardiovascular system. That’s why I’ve formulated my magnesium supplement, Magnesium Broad-Spectrum Complex , with 4 forms of magnesium that work most effectively.

Greater absorption of magnesium throughout your body

My Magnesium Broad-Spectrum Complex magnesium supplement includes orotate, citrate, glycinate, and taurinate forms. When it comes to bioavailability, these forms are superior to other forms of magnesium. And greater bioavailability means that your body not only gets more of this wonderful mineral, but is better able to utilize it throughout your body. So, no matter how your metabolism works, you’re covered!

Cardiologist-recommended amount of magnesium in every dose!

As important as the right forms of magnesium are, you need to make sure you are taking the right amount of magnesium every day. And, I believe that everyone, especially those people with specific heart or cardiovascular concerns, should be taking at least 400–800 mg of a broad-spectrum magnesium every day, regardless of how much magnesium you think you are getting in your diet. And with Broad Spectrum Magnesium Complex, you’re getting a total of 400 mg, every day!

By taking the best forms of magnesium in the correct amounts, you are not only helping to protect your heart, but also ensuring the health of your entire body.

Science and Quality

Magnesium is an essential nutrient that is necessary for many metabolic activities, including ATP energy production and promoting energy and physical endurance. It is essential for the transmission of nerve and muscle impulses and regulation of body temperature, It is involved in a least 325 different enzymatic reactions and scores of biological functions, including muscle contractions, sleep, growth, and healing.

Like calcium, magnesium is readily available through food.  Good dietary sources include dairy products, fish, meat, and seafood. It is also abundant in many fruits and vegetables, and whole grains and herbs. Yet, most Americans do not consume enough of this important mineral, and deficiencies are common, particularly in the elderly. 1

Cardiovascular health

  • Magnesium has therapeutic effects on the cardiovascular system.1, 2
  • Epidemiological studies suggests that high dietary intake of magnesium is associated with healthy blood pressure.3, 4, 5
  • Supplementation with magnesium (400 to 600 mg per day) has demonstrated significant effects in promoting and maintaining normal blood pressure values.6, 7, 8, 9  It has been suggested that magnesium may affect blood pressure through its effects on the secretion of adrenal hormones, which cause an increase in sodium excretion.10  This results in less water retention.  Less body water reduces the volume of blood pumping through the cardiovascular system.
  • Magnesium supports the endothelial lining of the blood vessels.11

Bone health

  • Magnesium is critical for the absorption of calcium and potassium, playing a role in the formation of bone. Approximately 60% of the body’s magnesium is stored in the bones.
  • Magnesium regulates calcium absorption to help maintain bone strength.  Studies demonstrate the beneficial effects of magnesium and its role in bone density.
  • A study following a group of menopausal women gave them magnesium to assess the effects of this mineral on bone density.  After 1 year, there was an increase in bone density during the period.12
  • Another study involving postmenopausal women found that mean bone density increased significantly after 1 and 2 years of magnesium supplementation.13
