Comprehensive heart health support with 100mg of CoQ10 for greater cardio support and energy
All the benefits of Omega Q Plus, now with resveratrol and a double dose of CoQ10
As a cardiologist, I developed the original Omega Q Plus formula to offer a single, comprehensive solution that could address every facet of heart health. A few years later, after researching the benefits of resveratrol, I created my top-selling Omega Q Plus Resveratrol formula.
Then recently, when my patients asked me whether they should take additional CoQ10, I decided to create a formula that included a double dose of this important nutrient. I’ve increased the dose of Hydro Q-Sorb CoQ10 from 50 to 100 mg, to create Omega Q Plus 100 Resveratrol.
— Dr. Stephen Sinatra
Dr. Sinatra formulated Omega Q Plus® 100 Resveratrol to include twice the dose of CoQ10 for additional heart health support and enhanced energy production. If you’re over 60, concerned about your cardiovascular health, need a bigger energy boost, or are taking a statin drug, this formula is for you.
You’ll find that Omega Q Plus 100 Resveratrol is an exceptional value. The same convenient two softgel dose delivers a powerful blend of nutrients, including clinically studied resveratrol—and now a full 100mg of Hydro Q-Sorb CoQ10.
No other natural solution can deliver what Omega Q Plus 100 Resveratrolcan:
- An astonishing boost of daily energy
- Balanced blood pressure levels
- Healthy HDL, LDL and triglyceride ratios
- Improved circulation and superior heart health
- Natural anti-inflammatory power
- Antioxidant protection for anti-aging and immune health
- Superior support for your joints, eyes, and brain
Plus the benefits of twice as much CoQ10:
- Extra energy production at the cellular level
- Additional CoQ10 replenishment (vital if you’re over 60 or take a statin drug)
- Even greater cardiovascular support
Highly absorbable Hydro Q-Sorb® CoQ10—for energizing antioxidant protection
Cardiologists often call CoQ10 the “miracle nutrient” because it fuels your cellular power plants. This is especially important for your heart—a muscle that requires huge amounts of oxygen and energy to function. Plus, CoQ10 acts as a potent antioxidant—hunting and destroying free radicals that can damage your heart health and overall well-being.
Omega Q Plus 100 Resveratrol features a patented, cutting-edge form of CoQ10 called Hydro Q-Sorb, which is far more bioavailable than ordinary powdered CoQ10 for:
- A strong, healthy heart
- Normal blood pressure
- Enhanced circulation
- Abundant cellular, physical, and mental energy
Resveratrol is a powerful polyphenol antioxidant found most notably in the skin of red grapes. Groundbreaking research suggests that resveratrol may protect your blood vessels and even improve circulation, plus:
- Slow the effects of aging by limiting free-radical damage
- Boost your brain power and energy
- Support healthy HDL, LDL, and triglyceride ratios
- Protect your brain, joints, eyes, and immune health
DHA-rich Calamarine®—the discovery that makes ordinary fish oil obsolete
Calamarine omega-3 oil has far MORE heart-healthy DHA than ordinary fish oil! And growing research suggests that DHA works the hardest to improve your blood pressure, blood vessel health, and circulation, plus support your brain, nerves, eyes, and colon.
Calamarine oil is a pure and potent extract of deep-water calamari (squid). They are an extremely eco-friendly, sustainable source of omega-3 fatty acids. Plus, Calamarine has NO fishy aftertaste and won’t cause “fishy burps.” But that’s only one part of the story…
Four powerful nutrients round out my #1 recommended heart supplement.
Omega Q Plus 100 Resveratrol also gives you 4 additional heart-healthy nutrients for unparalleled nutritional support:
- L-Carnitine—works hand-in-hand with Hydro Q-Sorb to increase energy and improve cardiovascular health
- Folic Acid—an important player in the fight against unhealthy homocysteine levels and an essential nutrient for keeping blood vessels healthy
- Vitamin B6—vital to over 60 different enzyme processes in your body and one of the key vitamins for overall health
- Vitamin B12—works in combination with other B vitamins to lower homocysteine levels and enhance energy production.

I'm over 60, have been on statins for a year. I'd also been taking ubiquinol and krill oil from the health food store. Whenever I would run out, I'd get tired around 5PM and sometimes wake up with leg cramps during the night. When I received the flyer in the mail for a combined ubiquinol, omega 3, B vitamins and reversitrol for such a great price I had to try it. A couple of weeks went by before I really noticed the effects, probably due to having had stomach flu during that time, but then I noticed I wasn't getting the afternoon sleepy slump or leg cramps. This matched the previous supplements I'd taken so I wasn't overly excited until I started noticing more energy and a sense of 'calm', or 'well being' - not sure just how to describe it. It's easier to clean house, go to work, take my walks and I feel satisfied at the end of the day with the day's accomplishments. I also seem to be a bit quicker on the uptake memory wise. The only down side was some belching (like with fish oil) the first couple of weeks but there was no after taste and belching is gone now. I'll definitely reorder when this supply runs out!
I have been taking this for just over 2 weeks and have noticed improved energy. Have not had my cholesterol checked yet.
Science and Quality
A high-quality source of heart-healthy DHA
The ability of the body to convert plant-based omega-3s (ALA) to EPA, and subsequently DHA, is very low even in healthy individuals. And DHA is especially difficult to obtain from plant-based omega-3s. Virtually no DHA is converted from ALA: One study showed that only 0.04% is converted to DHA1 and another study showed healthy males converted only 4%.2
You would need to eat about 4 teaspoons of flaxseed oil to get the same amount of DHA in Omega Q Plus 100 with Resveratrol…or about 1 cup of walnuts…or about 7 tablespoons of canola oil.
Why is DHA important to heart health?
Research shows that DHA supplementation has a better effect in promoting normal blood pressure levels than EPA. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, subjects were given purified supplements of EPA or DHA (4 grams) or a placebo for 6 weeks. Researchers found that DHA was superior to EPA for supporting healthy blood pressure levels. DHA (but not EPA) also helped reduce heart rate. It was also found that EPA supplements had no effect on raising blood phospholipid levels of DHA, indicating that the body has a difficult time converting EPA supplements to DHA.3
DHA is also better at improving vasodilation and endothelial function (as measured by forearm blood flow) in these same subjects.4
EPA and DHA have been shown to have favorable effects on blood lipids, including triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, and lipid particle size, all important measures of cardiovascular health. While it appears that both EPA and DHA help to lower triglycerides (dosages greater than 2 grams daily), research suggests that DHA is the omega-3 that is responsible for increasing HDL cholesterol levels in the body.
Overall heart health
In a study of postmenopausal women, those with the highest levels of DHA (and not EPA or ALA) showed significantly better coronary artery health over a 3-year period.5 Similarly, in men, research shows that higher levels of DHA (and lower levels of saturated fat) is associated with better coronary artery health.6
