A Heart-Healthy Sides & Sauces Recipe

  • 1-½ cups (firmly packed) fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup (firmly packed) fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup pine nuts

Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Cover and blend on medium speed for about 3 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides. Blend until smooth.

Makes about 1-1/3 cups. Serving size: 1 Tbsp.
