A Heart-Healthy Sides & Sauces Recipe
- 1-½ cups (firmly packed) fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup (firmly packed) fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¾ cup olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- ¼ cup pine nuts
Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Cover and blend on medium speed for about 3 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides. Blend until smooth.
Makes about 1-1/3 cups. Serving size: 1 Tbsp.
