Supplements That Lower Blood Pressure

I have not responded well to my doctor’s prescriptions for high blood pressure. I would like to see if supplements That lower blood pressure can help me. What do you recommend?

My favorite supplements that lower blood pressure include CoQ10 and magnesium, in conjunction with nattokinase, garlic and hawthorn. And don’t forget omega-3 essential fatty acids—at least 1–2 grams per day—which stimulate the production of nitric oxide. This compound, which is produced by the endothelium, keeps arteries properly dilated and counteracts the vasoconstricting effect of stress that can cause high blood pressure.

One easy way to get your omega-3 essential fatty acids is by taking fish oil supplements, which can be found at health-food stores and grocery stores. But not all fish oil supplements are created equal. Learn what to look for in a good fish oil supplement that lowers blood pressure.
