Good Health Begins With Good Food
Although vitamins and supplements can be an effective way to help meet nutritional needs, it’s important to remember that they cannot take the place of a healthy diet. Eating well is still—and always will be—the foundation of good health.
My recommended eating plan is something I call the Pan-Asian Mediterranean (PAM) diet. It combines the dietary traditions of the Mediterranean with those from the Pacific Rim, and is rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fish, beans, and healthy fats (particularly heart-healthy omega-3 fats).
