WGP Beta Glucan — A More Powerful Way to Boost Your Immunity
I can't think of anything that benefits your entire body more than a strong, resilient immune system. It's critical for good health. That's why I've spent years researching and recommending immune-supporting nutrients. By far the most effective one I've found is beta glucan. It does a superior job of bolstering your immunity.
Recently, a new patented process has developed a 75% pure, advanced form called WGP beta glucan. This new WGP beta glucan is known as a modulator — meaning it gives you steady, everyday protection, rather than other supplements such as Echinacea that you only take to try and fight something off. WGP beta glucan actually trains your immune system to be strong and more resilient every day.
Train your immune system to stay fully-charged
To appreciate the true significance of this breakthrough, I first want you to understand how your immune system works. Specialized white blood cells — called macrophages - are the first line of defense of your immune system. You can think of your macrophages as the "guard dogs" of your immune system, constantly on alert.
If your immune system isn't in top shape — especially when it's being taxed, or when you're under stress — it's like your "guard dog" is asleep on the job. When you're looking to keep your immune system strong, you want to make sure your macrophages are on alert - ready at a moment's notice.
The reason this new WGP beta glucan works so well is that it actually activates receptor sites on the surfaces of your macrophages. This in turn keeps them alert so they're ready to work. They become like "super Pacmen" gobbling up harmful microbes.
Why beta glucan is so potent
What makes WGP beta glucan potent is that it's a specialized sugar molecule derived from the cell walls of yeast. Beta glucan from yeast has long branch chains. You can think of it as a tall tree with long branches that reach in all directions, doing a superior job of stimulating the receptor sites of your macrophages. Other forms of beta glucan either have no branches (so they're like a little twig), or if they have branches, they're extremely short — so their reach is limited.
When it comes to beta glucan, purity is critical for peak effectiveness. The WGP beta glucan I recommend goes through a special patented process that removes all other parts of the yeast cell (such as the fats and proteins) and leaves 75% pure beta glucan (other beta glucans are only 3% to 20% pure). The purity of this beta glucan also makes it much easier on your stomach.
I'm certain that this new WGP beta glucan will change how we view immunity and will help so many people. I encourage you to add it to your routine.

Five Key Nutrients for Improved Immune Health
- WGP Beta Glucan (250 mg) — boosts your "guard dog" white blood cells, called macrophages, keeping them alert and ready at a moment's notice.
- Coriolus Mushrooms (600 mg) — complements the WGP beta glucan, stimulates additional macrophages, to help give you complete support for your entire immune system.
- L-glutamine (1500 mg) — fuels the "energy starved" macrophages of your immune system, especially during times when they're needed most.
- Vitamin C (100 mg) — a well-researched antioxidant that fortifies your immune system during times of stress.
- Samento or liquid cat's claw — strengthens both overactive and underactive immune systems by blocking inflammatory pathways.

Are Flu Shots Safe?
At a recent lecture, someone asked my opinion about flu shots. It was interesting because flu shots were being administered that day for $10 and pneumonia shots for $20. I told this person I'd consider a flu shot only if I lived in a nursing home or had a compromised immune system or a lung problem.
I don't recommend flu shots if you're healthy. They can weaken your immune system and you can still end up getting the flu. (The flu virus constantly changes, often rendering the vaccine ineffective; further, the vaccine can give you the flu.)
You don't have to put up with feeling sick from these common ailments for days or weeks on end. At the very least, you can reduce the length and severity of your symptoms.
