Bad LDL cholesterol and

When you go to the doctor, he or she probably no longer just talks about getting cholesterol down. For most of us the goal is to get our bad LDL as low as possible, preferably well under 100. The problem with typical water-soluble antioxidants such as vitamins C and A, resveratrol, quercetin, green tea catechins, you name it—is that they mostly protect your cells from the outside.
You’ve heard of the “free radicals” that can attack and damage the cells of your organs. What vitamin companies don’t tell you is that typical land-based antioxidants (made from plants) only protect the cells from the outside, like good soldiers fighting outside of a fort, keeping the bad guys from getting to the walls.
But what happens when free radicals do penetrate the cell’s walls? And what about free radicals that are actually created INSIDE your cells in the first place—who’s in there holding down the inside of the fort? Until now, hardly anyone.
Seanol’s spectacular chemistry: the kindergarten explanation!
Here’s why Seanol is so exciting and unique: You see, one of the most powerful antioxidants in nature is a family of natural compounds called polyphenols. Seanol contains polyphenol antioxidants that are oil soluble, allowing them to pass through the oil-based membrane of your cells.
The polyphenols used in other antioxidant products are only water soluble, and water-based polyphenols can’t pass through the cell wall. They’re shut out.

By the way, free radicals inside your cells are created naturally as a by-product of the cell’s energy production, just like the nasty exhaust that comes out of a car’s engine. If too many free radicals are allowed to run wild inside your cells, you’ll age faster.
Seanol’s antioxidants also last longer in your body than other antioxidants. The body breaks down water-soluble antioxidants in about 30 minutes.
